An internal employee engagement portal giving staff a single place to handle skill assessments, learning opportunities, and recruitment steps — paired with a Python backend to keep the API layer separate from the main MERN products.

Recruitment and skill-development tracking were fragmented across manual processes, slowing down both hiring workflows and internal learning initiatives.
Approach
Built frontend modules for recruitment and skill enhancement using Next.js, jQuery, and JavaScript
Developed a backend REST API in Python on PostgreSQL to handle skill-assessment and recruitment data
Designed the schema and endpoints for scalable, efficient data access as usage grew
